FCS Celebrates Record Graduation Rate for Fourth Year in a Row
Fulton County Schools (FCS) proudly announces a new milestone with a 90.7% graduation rate, the highest ever recorded for the district. This marks an increase from last year’s 90.3% and the fourth consecutive year of record-breaking success.
SAT Scores Continue to Outperform State/National Averages for Eighth Consecutive Year
Fulton County Schools (FCS) students once again surpassed both state and national averages on the SAT, marking the eighth consecutive year of this achievement. For the class of 2024, FCS students recorded a mean total score of 1063, outpacing the Georgia average by 33 points and the national average by 68 points.

Record-breaking Achievements in 2024 AP Exams
Exemplifying Fulton County Schools’ strong emphasis on high academic achievement, 2024 marked another banner year for students taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses. With more than ten thousand students participating in the AP program across 39 different subjects.
Roswell Events
Roswell Football is a proud tradition that brings together students, families, alumni, and the community. On Friday nights, Hornet Pride is on full display as fans pack the stands to support the team, creating an atmosphere of school spirit, unity, and tradition.
The Roswell Hornets enjoyed an outstanding 2025 season, finishing with a 12–2 overall record and capturing the Region 7-AAAAA Championship with a perfect 6–0 region record. The team advanced to the GHSA Class 5A State Semifinals, highlighting one of the program's strongest postseason runs in recent years and showcasing the hard work and determination of the players and coaching staff.
Roswell High School's 2025 Homecoming football game was memorable not only for the action on the field but also for a heartwarming display of Hornet Pride. During halftime, quarterback Trey Smith was crowned Homecoming King and immediately presented his crown and sash to fellow senior Jake Jeffries, a longtime football team assistant with Down syndrome, and often considered to be one of the team's biggest fans. The touching gesture received a standing ovation from the crowd and highlighted the school's values of inclusion, respect, and community, making the evening one that students, families, and alumni will remember for years to come.
