Beat the Heat 5K Run & 400M Dash
Join our 1st annual student-led run/walk at Roswell High School (RHS) to support the Emory Winship Cancer Institute and Roswell High School DECA!
Event Date: Saturday August 22, 2026
400M Dash: 5:30 PM start
5K Run/Walk: 6:00 PM start
Registration: Open until August 16 (for a guaranteed T-Shirt)
Location: Roswell High School, 11595 King Road, Roswell, GA 30075
Event will continue rain or shine. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.

Water stations will be available throughout the course.
No strollers allowed on course.
No dogs allowed on course.
Medical Staff will be available in case of injury.
5K Course
5K Course
The 5K course will traverse the Roswell High School Campus
Race starts at the 100M mark on the RHS track
2 loops around the outlined course
Race ends at 200M mark on RHS track
Timing and Results
Timing and Results
Participants will be chip timed by Wire2Wire Running, top finishers in each age group will be announced and awarded at the race and full results will be posted on the Results page of this site and on https://www.wire2wirerunning.com/
Parking
Parking
Free parking is available in the Senior lot closest to the stadium at Roswell High School. See to the image on the left for further reference. Overflow parking will be available at Publix. Signage and volunteers will direct you on race day.
T-Shirts
T-Shirts
Race T-Shirts are included with 5K Registration submitted by August 16th.
T-SHIRTS are NOT included for 400M Dash Participants.
Additional T-Shirts are available for purchase on the registration site.
